Versay Solutions Announces Comprehensive Service and Deployment Offerings for Nuance Voice Platform 3.0; Providing Customers Unprecedented Flexibility and Control

Deerfield, IL, May 13, 2004 - Versay Solutions, a provider of speech solutions and services that deliver a compelling caller experience, today announced a comprehensive suite of service offerings for the Nuance Voice Platform™ 3.0, Nuance's (NASDAQ: NUAN) open, standards based VoiceXML platform that is optimized for the deployment and operation of voice automation solutions. Versay's service offerings, designed to help companies maximize their investment in the Nuance Voice Platform and provide the greatest flexibility and control, include:

Platform Hosting - Reliable, fully redundant outsourcing services for companies who want to outsource the operations, telephony, monitoring, and/or management of the Nuance Voice Platform.
Platform Support - Complete support offerings for companies who want to run the Nuance Voice Platform at their facilities, including: technical support, remote platform monitoring, and disaster recovery.
Application Support - Expert support for certified VoiceXML 2.0 applications running on the Nuance Voice Platform.

The outsourcing model has proven to be highly effective in helping companies focus on their business and their customers, rather than on the operation and maintenance of a telephony platform. Unlike proprietary "black-box" solutions, standards-based speech platforms, such as the Nuance Voice Platform, complement the outsourcing model by enabling companies to choose which components and functions they wish to outsource and which to manage internally. For example, a company might choose to outsource the telephony and operations management of the Nuance platform, while leveraging internal resources for application development.

"Our customers' needs change over time. While time-to-market might be an important consideration today, long-term cost of ownership may become more critical in the future," explained Phil Gray, President of Versay. "Versay is fundamentally changing the traditional hosting model by allowing our customers to move seamlessly between a fully hosted and a premise based solution. With a wide range of hosting and support services, we are offering our customers greater flexibility in how they operate and maintain their speech applications."

"Nuance is dedicated to providing speech solutions that deliver maximum business benefits, including cost savings, quick access to information, and increased customer satisfaction," said Charles Berger president and CEO, Nuance. "We are pleased that Versay shares this commitment and is offering customers a flexible deployment option that maximizes their investment in the Nuance Voice Platform and meets their business objectives."

Versay enjoys a strong partnership with Nuance and is the Master Distributor for the Nuance Voice Platform in North America. Versay is working with Nuance to establish a network of system integrators and partners who build value added solutions that can be deployed on the Nuance Voice Platform. In addition to hosting and support services for the Nuance platform, Versay will provide hosting of Nuance's packaged speech applications, including Nuance Call Steering™ and Nuance Caller Authentication™. Versay will also host its own standards-based VoiceXML applications, as well as those developed by partners.

Versay is a Silver Sponsor of the seventh annual V-World conference in Orlando, Florida, May 17-20, 2004. For more information on the solution offerings, visit Versay in booth 309.
